Monday:
Good morning to all. I hope all of you are doing well. We have a great day lined up, and will be learning lots today.

First I would like you to attack the opener. The link is below.

Now, take your notes out, I want to check them before we move on.

Next we are going to jump into the shared presos. Get your notes out and be ready to go.

The last activity we are going to do is watch a great 30 minute video from BBC about the power of the Oceans.

Wednesday:
For your opener, please take the time to share your findings. I am sorry I forgot to post this yesterday.
Here is the link to share your findings. Please follow the directions at the top of the document.
Unit 3: Oceans Shared Findings

WeekSauce! Everyone is taking the PSAT! Oh well. But, for Friday you will need to create a poster, 11x17 format that highlights your section of the chapter. You need to really own the main concept and your poster should easily explain to any Joe Shmo what critical concepts that need to be understood. As always, graphics speak louder than words, text needs to have heirarchy, and please site your sources. These will be due Friday at the beginning of class. The two of you who did the intro or key terms, the entire chapter is fair game.

Also, please fill out the spreadsheet so we can solidify our plans for our pot luck for this Friday. I need everyone to bring something, even if it is small. It just is not allowed to suck. So don't bring anything pumpkin flavored!
Friday's Potluck
